Rooms in West Tower were clean and comfortable. I really appreciated having a fridge and iron and ironing board in the room. Free wi fi was excellent as we all had work to do and needed to use our laptops. The beds were very comfortable. We had a room with two queen beds and it was still spacious. Shower was very good, bathroom clean and comfortable. Small hairdryer in room which is good. Good closet space with ample supply of hangers. Water slide and very small pool available for families with young children ( indoor). Do request rooms that have windows to the outside of the building and not inside to the atrium overlooking the pool, these rooms will be quite dark, not to mention noisy from children in the pool area. We ate in the hotel a few times breakfast and dinner, staff very helpful, food was good.

As mentioned above the rooms overlooking the indoor pool are quite dark and will be noisy when the pool is open. We had rooms that had windows on the outside of the building which were bright and fairly quiet. Location is a bit far from the downtown area so you would ideally need a car to get anywhere. There is only one place to eat within walking distance - Aunt Lucy'S.

over priced for what it is... the fire alarm went off every time we use the bath or shower.

The swimming pool for the kids

There was no fridge in my room, some friends paid the same rate and they had one without asking for it. I did not know that we have to ask for a fridge to have . Even in motels, you have a fridge in the room. we have gone to an outdoor water park and we used the shampoo that was available in the room. We stayed for 2 days, they never gave us another shampoo, we washed with the soap. I hate asking for obvious things normally, they should replace the missing thing without asking for them.

The food is over priced and the washroom on the first room we stayed , the toilet was dirty. The view for both the rooms we stayed were horrible, facing the back.

The staff was friendly upon check in.

We asked for a wake up call which never happened. We had to drive to Ottawa to catch a flight and were late as a result. There seemed to be a tournament and several groups of adults partied in the hallway until 1:30 a.m.

We always try to visit your establishment but economics doesn't always allow us to do so.we kind of had a quick get away to help celebrate our anniversary. I also purchased one of your bathrobes which my wife loves!!!

The only problem we had was that the hot tub worked for about 5 minutes and then shut off.. I brought the matter up with the staff.

The only thing I liked about my stay at the Ambassador Conference Resort was leaving!!!!!

My stay at the Ambassador was not what I thought it was going to be. I felt out of place with young children and felt as though the staff were stuck up and unfriendly. I assumed that it was more for families with children because it had the so called "indoor water park". It was a huge dissapointment. The beds were hard, I had ants in my room and in the bed my daughter slept in. While my children were swimming the ceiling tile fell in the pool nearly hitting them and then they couldn't swim anymore cause they closed it. It was a complete waste of money. The food is overpriced so we ate at East Side Marios. I would never stay there again!

The room was clean and the reception counter was friendly.

    - High level of chlorine in pool. - Thought the price was very high compared to many other hotels I have stayed in.

We have stayed here several times, the location is great for shopping and dining, the hotel staff is friendly and the rooms are very clean. We all love the pool and waterslide.

Price and location which was convenient for our needs. very comfortable beds!

Every time we went through the entrance we had to negotiate a crowd of smokers! They really should have been further away - preferably out of sight altogether.

    The hotel was clean.

The website boasts about having an indoor waterslide, hot tubs, and saunas. The hotel does have all of those items; however, if they do not feel that it is cost effective to run them they do not. So we paid $118.00 for the night and the waterslide and the hot tubs were not in operation because they did not feel it to be cost effective. I do not feel that it will be cost effective for me to return. It was an expensive burn!
